More than half a day has passed since my last post and if I was slightly less unhinged I would be heading to bed now (but am – instead – watching delayed Emmy’s telecast here in Oz despite knowing the results and reading updates on Twitter).
However, I wanted to update today’s post as I am conscious that many of my posts lately have been very negative.
But… today as bed beckons, my day has been overwhelmingly positive and I thought I should record that. For a change.
I have many sleepless nights because my mind is generally preoccupied with negative thoughts and stresses. In fact, many nights, my thoughts are jumping around so much I can barely grasp them. But I am hoping tonight is different.
Sure, I have stuck to points 2 days over the past week (hardly a stellar effort, I realise), but today… not only have I stuck to points, but I did some writing exercises, I did a chore on my ‘to-do’ list (ie. the desk chair purchase!), AND I ended up getting on my jogging trampoline for 30 minutes despite thinking I might give myself the day off.
So, all in all a very good day. Hopefully I can build on it this and actually do two days in a row. For a change….
