In lieu of the traditional Christmas cards and letters this year, I actually wrote a post on my public blog which was essentially an end-of-year wrap-up. I receive so many cards and letters from friends full of exciting news of their families and exploits – my life feels a bit mundane in comparison – so for the last few years I haven’t bothered with my own letters. However, given my love of writing and exploring my feelings through words I still felt compelled to write SOMETHING about the year that was….

I guess most non-business oriented blog posts are just self-indulgent twaddle, but this post feels even more so. But, Cest la Vie!
