It is approaching dinner time and so far so good. Well, as long as you don’t count the wine I have just started on. But on a positive note, I have eaten healthily all day; my (old) usual for breakfast and then some quiche thing my mother made for lunch.
As my parents visited me today I didn’t get out for a walk, although it has rained all day anyway. I called in to the local supermarket after they left and I had a bag of corn chips in my shopping basket but (in a Herculean effort) but them back. Yay for me!
I am currently contemplating dinner. I haven’t counted points today (in a tracking sense), but I am at least closer to being on-track than I was yesterday. A positive for yesterday was that I did try a new Weight Watchers’ recipe for dinner: Sticky Chicken. It is low point (though I had a bit of rice with it) and was yummy – chicken pieces, brown sugar, fish sauce, lime juice, chopped chillies… I think that was it. I added some onion and capsicum as well. My serving (aside from the rice) was only 3.5 points.
Meanwhile, back to contemplating dinner tonight. I have a gluten-free pizza base for me (although it comes in a pack of 2, so then I will have to do somewith the the second one which is a bit tiresome), or fried rice (using the leftover jasmine rice from the batch I cooked up last night), or something completely different. Decisions, decisions…
I'd love to hear your thoughts
