Yahoo! One-on-one appointment with Weight Watchers consultant today and after a stellar week (if I do say so myself) I got on the scales to discover I have lost 2kgs (bringing my total back up to a loss of 7.6kgs). Of course if you balance that out with my 0.6kg gain last week it isn’t as impressive, but let’s not go there.
My scales haven’t really changed since Tuesday (day 37) so if I am completely honest I was hoping for an even bigger number – despite not being a contestant on The Biggest Loser!
I will have some wine today and have already been indulging in my corn chip treats, but will be back on track tomorrow and will again aim for no alcohol during the week and remaining on/under points.
I know I said that it shouldn’t matter if I didn’t lose weight (cos I felt so much better anyway – a sense of accomplishment and virtue!!!) but I suspect (in all honesty again) I would have been mightily pissed if the scales hadn’t shown some good news.
Meanwhile back to my (low calorie / low alcohol) champers…. and later a nice red wine to go with my steak. I usually stick to fillet steak cos it has no visible fat, but today (when I am not counting points) I bought a big scotch fillet steak. And maybe some mashed potato. Yum yum and yay for winter!!
