My usual post will be coming today, but a media article today prompted me to write a post about two people I’ve never met.
I can only hope I’ve been vaguely eloquent about this very sad and tragic issue.

A beautifully written post. I wish more people thought like this then maybe we wouldn’t have this problem in our society.

Hi Deb! That post reminds me of how I wanted to be like Farrah Fawcett when I was a teenager. When she got sick with cancer, I realized that she would have probably rather have been like me–very healthy. Looks aren’t everything—and they aren’t even much, versus the rest of what life offers.
And I also feel bad about Brad Delp’s death (singer of band Boston). He had such a beautiful voice and made so many people’s lives better. But he struggled with depression.
I had depression several years ago and overcame it, but it takes more strength to overcome than some people have.

I’ve been there myself Marion, but not to the extent that I’ve serious considered the alternatives better than life. It’s so sad and such a waste but I can understand that some just feel there’s no way out. And… the grass is always greener, isn’t it?!
